Cory Schrader: 2025 Northport Modified Champion

NORTHPORT — Cory Schrader, 2025 Modifieds Season Champion #17, has been racing at Northport Raceway since 2005, beginning his career in the Fever Four division. In 2008, he made the move into the Modifieds class and immediately proved he belonged, capturing a championship in his very first year. That early success set the tone for a career defined by consistency, determination, and a calculated approach every time he takes to the track.

Since then, Schrader has continued to build an impressive legacy in the Modifieds division, earning additional championships in 2010, 2014, 2022, 2024, and most recently securing his sixth overall championship during the 2025 season. Known for his strategic racing style and calm presence behind the wheel, Cory is always searching for ways to improve, constantly fine-tuning his performance and pushing himself to be better year after year.

The 2025 season was especially meaningful, as Cory took on a more hands-on role than ever before. Throughout the year, he completed the car’s maintenance and repairs himself, working side by side with the support of his wife. Their dedication and teamwork behind the scenes played a crucial role in keeping the car competitive week after week and were a key part of this championship run.
